Canada National Women held off USA Women National Team 34-33, with both sides combining for 10 touchdowns in a game that never slowed down. Canada led 21-19 at halftime, enough of a cushion to survive a determined second-half push from USA.
Parker led Canada's passing attack with 164 yards and three touchdown passes, while Fournier hauled in eight catches for 87 yards and a score. Quirion added two receiving touchdowns for Canada. On the USA side, Higa threw for 203 yards and three scores, with Geraci and Fulford each catching two touchdowns.
The second half was a back-and-forth exchange. USA outscored Canada 14-13 in the second half but could not quite complete the comeback. A late sack by Bositampen on Canada's final drive was the only sack of the game, and Edwards pulled down the game's lone interception for USA.
Canada's defense recorded 13 flag pulls to USA's 21, but it was Canada's offense that made the difference. Parker and Ashkar combined to move the ball consistently, and the one-point margin held when USA's final possession came up short.
